Linda Clerget: The horizon of joy in landscape
A trained actress, Linda Clerget extends her artistic field from theater to visual arts through the practice of photography and painting.
The artist seeks to create a poetry of links between humans and nature, dreams and reality, the human species and spirituality.
Her works, which navigate between figuration and abstraction, are imbued with a raw vitality and beauty: vitality of the touch, of the color, the powdering of the material...
She constructs a poetic and intuitive visual universe, which speaks to our sensations and emotions before our intellect.
She invites the viewer to open all of his senses and projects him into 'little paradises' where time slows down.
Based in Thomery, near the majestic Fontainebleau Forest, Linda explores how color and light can sublimate nature. Her pictorial approach seeks to capture the vitality of the natural world and convey a sense of energy and freedom. She also seeks to translate those simple moments of grace where humans fit into harmony with their environment, in a vision of a modern, light and vibrant dolce vita.
Art critic Jorn Baker highlights the singularity of her work, highlighting its ability to reveal a reinvented nature, where contemplation becomes an inner adventure. Exhibited in New York, Paris and London, Linda Clerget invites everyone to rediscover the wild beauty of the world and to reconnect with it, by reconnecting with the essential joy it inspires.
