In a series of rapid markings, bordering on frenetic, Linda Clerget paints a scene in a forest, "which for the artist is a world of its own where she communicates with trees and spirits," says Clerget. .

In this episode Linda tells us about her beginnings as a painter. Linda tells us how she was selected to exhibit in New York or Italy, some time after having started painting!  

The works by Linda Bachammar Clerget displayed in this catalogue feature some mixed techniques. In fact, the artist tries to get some particular chromatic effects, which could unlikely be conveyed by using only one kind of pigments. In her first two works, In the distance and This cloud above our heads, the transparency effects of watercolours are the ideal base to emphasize the careful texture of lines obtained through the skillful and nearly calligraphic use of Indian Ink...

Linda Bachammar is a French artist born in Paris in 1985. Each of her artworks is a product of the artist's research on human nature, identity, and relationship to the environment.  

His works, which navigate between figuration and abstraction, are imbued with raw vitality and beauty; vitality of the touch, of the color, powdering of the material… She builds a poetic and intuitive visual universe, which speaks to our sensations and our emotions before our intellect. ..
